So far the 90’s revivalism seems to be focusing on Lo-fi and Shoegaze. It’s like an alternate history where grunge never came along and took over, and what happened instead descended from the union of early-tapes Sebadoh and My Bloody Valentine. My response? Yesssssssssss!

Found via the Create Digital Music Blog. Ten stylophonists playing a catchy, minimalist composition. You’ll want to close your eyes to avoid being irritated by the ironic self seriousness and hey-our-clothes-are-so-awful-it-must-be-on-purpose-wink-wink hipsterism on display. But the music is genuinely interesting if you can take a deep breath and avert your gaze.
