You won’t miss it, because what’s here is stunning. Imagine the best of Ennio Morricone’s Spaghetti Western soundtracks, Curtis Mayfield’s Superfly music, and the music for Valerie and Her Week of Wonders all blended together. That’ll get you close.

So far the 90’s revivalism seems to be focusing on Lo-fi and Shoegaze. It’s like an alternate history where grunge never came along and took over, and what happened instead descended from the union of early-tapes Sebadoh and My Bloody Valentine. My response? Yesssssssssss!
